Login without Steam Mobile Authenticator

Hello, recently my cousin dropped and cracked his phone's screen, and had to hand it to a tech store for them to fix it. But now, since he doesn't have his phone, he can't enter the steam mobile authenticator code when he's logging in. Is there another way for him to log in to his account? Will we have to contact steam suport?

1. Always have the recovery code in a safe place, such as in a password book.

2. Yes you have to contact support to remove the Steam Mobile Authenticator, and you have to prove who you are to them with details they will ask for.

3. Since his phone is with someone, it would be good idea to have it removed, as well change password. Once he get back, he can clear the cache for it, delete it, then re-add the app, and set it up.

4. Get a phone case that covers the whole thing, like a book phone cade, maybe check Amazon, eBay, etc for the case that will fit his phone.
