Steam servers are under DDoS attack again?

tried posting a screenshot, couldn't view it on my profile, neither could my friends. getting error 500, new contents in the friends' activity don't load as well.

Just a common server problem affecting Steam Cloud. Nothing major.

the guy said it's a common thing, very ridiculous. it's definitely Not common thing to happen on a platform with 150+ Millions of active users.

The amount of users is irrelevent. This has happened in the past, it's happening now and will happen again. Steam server problems are common as is the back-end maintenence and these can impact the platform heavily while they occuring.

Got it today first time, can't load like 99% of screenshots regardless of client or browser, when typing steam akamai link in browser ( http://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ ) it just errors saying either:
a) Network changed (my internet is ok, no problems)
b) An error occurred while processing your request.

At first I thought it's something on my end but it seems to be on valve's end as everything else work and disabling AV/Firewall didn't helped
