Nintendo Switch Pro Controller freaking out
Hi, I've been using my pro controller on steam for a while now, and have been having this issue as well, but it only recently started to cause me problems. I initially noticed that when I have my controller plugged in and launch a game, random inputs are repeatedly sent to the game in question. Now usually, I could just close and re-open a game to fix it, but once I started to try and use my controller for a program like JoyToKey, nothing would help. I've seen several others mention this problem here, but that was 2 years ago, and apparently no solution was found. I'm using a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with the USB cable that came with it, if that helps any. I've tried in Big-Picture and in desktop, but nothing seems to fix it. Like I said, it works with steam games if I quit and re-launch, but if I try to run something outside of steam, it bugs out. If anyone can help, that'd be great.

I have been using the switch pro configuration support option since I had the controller. It helps with configuration, but it hasn't helped with this issue. I just recalibrated using it, but sadly it didn't help.

I haven't noticed the random inputting, occasionally it'll joystick control the mouse cursor for a moment but nothing as bad as what you're experiencing o.o

gonna bump this cause I'm still having the issue months later. Most Steam games work fine, but games not inherently in Steam don't like to play nice.

So a little something I found if you're still having this issue and hopefully this helps anyone later in the future
If you go onto steam and whatever game you want to launch if it has the controller icon click that. This will bring up the controller settings, then click the "using this template: gamepad" then click the "Gamepad" option (middle one?) then go back and launch the game, for some odd reason unknown to me this makes it work fine.
