Asus have software called AI Suite but it's rubbish.

I personally prefer Afterburner, but most people would recommend HWMonitor.

All those tools are hardware independent. Who made your laptop is irrelevant.

Well i like speccy, not the first time that app help me, even on remote pc , and easy to use and remove if user dont want it there anymore. it actual give tech info where other app fail.

ps.
see it as a help app that dont do intergrated itself deeper then the info it try to collect.

steam is born with FPS counter

Steam should add cpu temp, usage thing
It will be really helpful since it's not easy running lot of background things

i dont think steam want to go there, only reason they add fps because its inside a game they run.
rest could be seen a irrelevant doing gameplay. ( not then you test a game but most will never use cpu temp and ram temp doing gameplay. ( you also have windows resource manager meter )

and if this is test then its a Bencemark tester, if there is a deeper idea maybe you should say so.
the other could also have a good idea depend on what you seek.

only reason why i add is because speccy is so easy to use and very nice at remote pc, and strait forward to use.

there are already plenty of tools out there that do a great job of taht. steam really doesnt bring that much to the party by incorporating it, given how much you'd have to do to make a usable version of it from scratch, as opposed to using half a dozen other products
