steam won't open
Today i've tried to open steam but it won't start, i tried to search in the task manager for something but nothing is open what should i do?
the error is: "Unable to find C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ Steam.exe, verify that the name is correct, then try again

A lot of people are experiencing this issue.
As far as I'm aware, a fix hasen't been found yet.

Steam start up apps. don't work. It's becoming a problem a monthly issue. I click the icon and nothing happens. Then I have to reinstall steam. Is there a repair feature in Steam? Something that will do an error check on steam to make sure it's working properly?

Yeah, they need something that'll error check Steam. Something we can run outta C: and correct errors in the apps.

I just had this issue, searched a few posts and the only thing that worked was:
Go into regedit from start menu (just search to find it).
Open the drop down list in:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\
Then delete the steam entry, boom steam will run again.
Not sure if this causes any issues but none so far :) Hope this helps
