How to remove VR category in the library
I don't own any VR headset, and I don't plan on getting one soon. I got a steam code today, and it's a VR game. Thing is, now I have a VR category in my librare, and I'd like it gone. Is there any way I can completely hide it/delete it? or will I have to get in touch with steam support?

You cant. Every game that has official VR support will be listed there.
Well, you can leave those games uninstalled or hidden but thats about it.
The category itself cant be removed or renamed.

There must be a way. Steam isn't that bad. If it's really not possible, I guess I need to send a ticket to steam support and wait a year for them to answer :/

You cant even send a ticket because there is no ticket option for things like that.
And if you put that question into a ticket category it does not belong they just auto close it.
People asked for 2 years by now how to remove the VR category.
Its just not possible at the moment.

There is also a BIG client and browser UI update planned for later this year.
They have been working on that update for 2 years by now.
Maybe wait if your problem gets solved by that?

If it's not a game you care for, hide it in the library. Game gets hidden in both.

I did this for the Serious Sam Fusion beta once it added VR.
I'd like to see the useless VR category gone. There are normal games, games I care for, that also have a useless VR version so I can't hide them or I'll lose the normal version too.
