Also, I do NOT recommend syncing the saves with the cloud. Skyrim saves (especially if modded) tend to get MASSIVE after some time. I often hard-save, so make a new save file, and they are getting bigger and bigger. I remember when I had Cloud sync on, It took me a few minutes before I could start the game because it re-downloaded all the saves... Not to mention the bloated files filling up your hard drive.
Your choice though. Your internet is probably better.
The path to the save files is as follows:
C:\Users\Your User Name Here\Documents\my games\Skyrim\Saves
To load them you go here:
C:\Users\Your User Name Here\Documents\my games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves
And then start the game...in the Start screen you select "Load" and there should be an option to see all saves..select that and boom, your character is back ;-)
