*STEAM STORE GLITCH* -Steam store page broken/blue hyper links glitch
So my steam store page is broken with the black or white background and blue hyper-links bug, I found that restarting steam (going offline and then online) will fix it but turning off my pc and then turning it on will just bring the bug back, how can I fix this annoying as hell bug? Also tried the fix where you go into %localappdata% and then remove htmlcache folder and then do a steam://flushconfig, it helped as in restarting steam will fix the page but the damn bug isstill here, any suggestions on how to fix it?

Simply refresh the page

Steam (top left of the Steam window) > Settings > Web Browser > Click "delete web browser cach" and "delete web browser cookies"

Did that and it actually brought the glitch back, I had to go into offline and then back online to bring the store page back

Try running Steam as admin and then deleting the cache and cookies.

It happens to me after a Cache Dump as well. All I have to do is right click > refresh in the webpage within the client, very simple...

Then wipe Steam and redo it fresh. Like this... (fully Exit Steam first)

Go to Steam folder, and delete everything in just that folder, except for the following:
Steam.exe (application)
DepotCache (folder)
SteamApps (folder)
UserData (folder)

Also go here and delete everything inside:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Steam

Now right click Steam.exe > Run As Admin (always launch it this way)

If still issues, then your actual issue is most likely Modem Firewall or PC AntiVirus

for anyone finding this forum recently, the web browser settings are only accessable from big picture mode, as far as i know, and fixed the problem for me

Clear Steam's web browser data in the settings, under in game.

Yes do that about once per month. You can do that ahead of time before launching Steam Client by wiping out the Steam folder within %LocalAppData%

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
