Rust is killing my monitors!!

I have been playing Rust for quite a while. Today I got into game and after about 10 minutes my monitors went black and then said "going into power saver mode". The only way to get them back on is to shut down the computer by hand. Is anyone else having this problem? I did't have any trouble yesterday. I appreciate any ideas as to why this is happening.

Yeah, I can still hear it and do things with the keyboard and mouse. Just no picture!

My guess is videocard overheating

Last time I tried it, I got to play for 2 minutes.

This is a new computer for me, I guess I'll have to wait til he comes home from work. I even turned on the extra boost fans.

I downloaded the temp monitor and watched it while Rust was loading. You were right, MiSOKA. The temps spiked just while it was loading. My son said we might have to reverse a fan when he gets home from work. Again, thank you so much, MiSOKA. I really appreciate the help!!

no problem. most likely the manufacture installed it backwards.
