Content Servers Unreachable [FIXES]

So I've recently had a problem where every time i tried to download or update something on steam it would always say Content Servers Unreachable. Eventually i found out how to fix this so here's some of the ways I've fixed it in the past:

Change your download Region,
Steam > Settings > Downloads > Download Region.

Reset your steam / Router (this helps if you are having connection issues).

Check that your firewall isn't blocking steam as this will make it so steam cant download anything as it is being blocked.

sorry for reviving old thread.I did what that reddit said but it didnot work.Tho somehow changing region to washington dc and flushing my dns worked perfectly.So now my question is will i get vac ban for messing around with my config.vdf file by adding steam content server? or i am completely safe.I am kinda afraid after doing that as i really dont want a vac ban :|. so please if u guys check this thread again do reply .

[FIX] I found that if you turn on high priority in managing downloads, it would allow you to download the game you want once you restart! Go to library, then right click your game, then press properties, then downloads, then change your download setting to high priority!!
