hi, i have a laptop with an nvidia geforce 940mx
an i5 intel core processor
8gb RAM
and a 1920x1080 display monitor
rocket league runs at 30 fps in default settings and on the lowest settings it barely reaches 50-60 fps.mleague of legends runs good. Please help me fix this problem xD

I fail to see the problem. You bought a laptop with a crappy videocard and get crappy performance.

940mx is crappy ?? why in the recommended specs it says that my graphic card is good ?

Says nothing about a 940MX.
And your 940MX is not even remotely close to the recommended:

It's just a bit better than the minimum GTX 260.

You have a ultra low-end laptop GPU, that is made for watching movies not gaming. Bigger number ≠ better. The recommended GPU is a old mid-range gaming card which is 3x as powerfull as your card.

so the atari 5200 is beter than xbox 360? the number is only the model of the card and that one is a low videocard.

The 940mx is a ver very bad laptop GPU. You're not gonna get blood out of a stone with that thing.

Within Geforce parlance

XYZ

X = represents the architecture numbering this is incrmented for each new architecture. Higher architectures do not necessarily mean better performance compared to previous architectures.
Y = represents the major differentiator in performance the higher this number the better the performance within the architecture
X = represents sub-categories usually for slight performance increases

Also note that laptop versions of GPUs perform significantly WORSE than the equivalent counterparts on desktop GPUs.

The 940mx can 'barely' eke out 30fps at 1080p for games like Rocket League

You are getting about what performance could be expected out of that GPU.
