cant delete steam games

So, i got tired of playing a game and wanted to uninstall it, in a hurry, i just straight went up to the control panel to delete it but strangeley enough, the game wasn't there found on the list of programs and features, so i logged in and uninstalled the game. making sure all files were deleted, i went to the directory of the game in the steam folder and sure enough, some parts were still there so i tried deleting it and to my suprise i got a message that i needed permission from the admin and such. then i noticed that most of my games weren't on the list of programs and features on the control panel. i tried deleting other games just to make sure it was just that one specific game that's preventing me from deleting it, and still, i needed permission. i tried looking at the security tab in properties and it wouldn't even allow me to change the settings. pls help.

i have the same prob since i installed my ssd cant delete any files in it and i hope steam dev can fix that because those file kinda take some space on my ssd :(

That is not Steam problem, it obv has something to do with your PC.

"needed permission " <- there you have it, this shows that it is not Steam problem but your Windows.

Before posting here, google can help you a lot by just typing: "How to gain permission on a folder/file Windows".

Try Revo uninstaller and force the uninstall with it.

Or program "Take ownership" but watch out where you are downloading it from, there are some weird pages on the internet.

u have to put restar and turn off ur pc

fixed the prob was related to windows 10 had to reinstall it
