Can I disable big picture mode

I hate having to turn it off whrn Im play project m on dolphin emulator. When I use my gamepad it keeps turning on

In Settings > Interface there's an option for starting Steam in Big Picture mode that you can turn off?

No I'm talking about when I use a gamepad I use emulators and when I play like melee steam turns into big picture mode and it's annoying

Hey, I don't know if got this already, but that was bothering me too. I managed to get rid of it by going on steam -> settings -> controller -> general configurations (1st option) and leaving everything unckeched. This got me to normal old shift tab interface.
