Double check that Steam sees a Library folder on D

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Library Folders

1\10 is too low even for HDD, for correct trim on SSD you need free 1\5...1\3

SSD has 262 / 446 GB of free Space , HDD has around 2 TB of 2,72 TB
that is less than 0.1

You will still need to create a directory in settings since Steam looks at your C drive by default.

Going by what you say both drives have over 50% free which should be plenty.

262 GB of 446GB is just under 60% free
around 2TB of 2,72TB is 70-75% free

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Library Folders make sure the folder/drive you want used is selected as default.

Just because there aren't any folders doesn't meanSteam won't Create them when it starts downloading games. Steams library defaults to C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam when downloading games unless you change it.
