Windows Media Feature pack not found problem

Hi all,
After startup of Black Ops 3 via Steam I consistently get the error message that Windows Media FEature Pack must be installed. I've downloaded and installed the KB3099229 for Windows 10 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49919) on my system, but still the error occurs.
When I look via control panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off, it does not show the Media Features entry.
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Tried this one as well. Upon installing it gives the error "The update is not applicable to your computer".

I started there indeed, which brought me to KB3099229. Installed it but no luck. Tried to start BO3 as administrator, though still running into the missing Windows Media Feature pack problem.

Then contact support of Activision for further assistance.

There is another update from Microsoft, KB3133719, that fixes the problem. It installs the Media Feature Pack and it now it is visible in Turn Windows features on or off list.
