I keep seeing popup "1 new item"
I keep getting a popup saying "you have 1 new item in your inventory."

***I know what this is*** but why am I getting it every minute over and over and when I go to my Steam Inventory there's nothing there then that page locks up and stops loading.

***Haven't played a game recently either.***

happened to me, and i just logged on. went up to nine and stopped. when i went to see what was new, the "new" items weren't showing. this a bug on steam?

Looks like the inventory servers had a meltdown, i got the '1 new item' 4 times in a row and then was told that the inventory was not availible, seems to have fixed itself.

I think that they are for Baldurs Gate 1 and 2. New cards for theese games just appeared in my inventory. Even though I have not played this game for someome time.

It's the Baldur's Gate games. The cards were just added.
