Buying steam gift cards from external online shop
Hello, I was just thinking what would happen if I would buy a steam gift card from external online key-shop, activate it, buy some games and then it would turn out, that It was firstly (not by me, by the seller) bought using stolen credit card or something like that? Would my games/account or anything change or block? And of course, is it legal to steam statute to buy gift cards codes from key-shops?

I'm pretty sure that Steam treats these gift cards like cash -- so if they revoke the code, you're expected to pay up. Whether your account takes permanent damage from this -- no idea.

Just avoid it. There is no reason to buy Steam wallet codes from dubious online stores: if they ARE cheaper than what is says on the card, they ARE frauds.

There's no compelling reason to buy a steam card anywhere but in person at a real store, or on steam for wallet funds.
