Running 4k resolutions is foolish in my opinion. There are only very few games that actually have 4k resolution graphics included in them. I can't help but to roll my eyes at some people who attempt running 4k resolutions on games that don't have it that create threads curious as to:
- It doesn't work.
- The computer is locking up / the game crashes.
- I don't see a difference "fix this game!"
- I have 4k monitor and GPU but the game don't have 4k option settings. How do I run 4k settings?
...duh...
Too many people weren't there when they were handing out common sense.
I see a huge benefict on games, since all my games support 4K resolution, and many of them have also 4K textures inside. They works like a charm on a pretty solid 60 fps.
Just waiting for the RTX 3060 release and I can play on Ultra settings again.
each 1080p display will use about 16mb for buffers, 4k = about 64mb
check using gpuz
Yes.
