Screen Size Help
I was reading a visual novel when my cat decided he wanted to sit on my keyboard. Annoyingly, what ever combo of keys he sat on has screwed with the screen size that all of the novels I have.

I have to either play them in fullscreen mode ( which doesn't even use the entire screen for all of them) or the the window box becomes too small to read anything at all( like the size of game case on a 65 inch TV small).

The screen resolution size does NOT appear to be the issue because on every game I've tried, the window never gets any bigger than a PS4 game case even after I switch to the highest possible resolution.

It's a major annoyance and any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Try pressing Alt-Enter to fill the screen when in game.

Yes that enters the game(s) into fullscreen mode but doesn't solve the issues as to why windowed mode has become near impossible to read.

Update: I have discovered this issue is now affecting all of my games and not just the visual novels like I previously thought.

or goto Graphic card contoll panel and see if you using the Native Resolution or other

It’s a desktop but I am using a wireless keyboard with FN keys. I do not believe it’s an issue with FN keys because while he was laying on the F keys, he was hitting the FN key since that was closer to me.

On that note, I was able to get the windowed mode to display at the proper size by messing with the dispay options in the settings.

However, not only is the windowed mode still a bit blurry but now full screen stretches a bit too far and cuts of parts of the screen.

Not sure what I did wrong.

Here are my current scale and layout:

Size of text,apps, and others
300% (recommend) was previously 350%

Resolution
3840 x 2160 (recommended)

Run into more problems.

For point of reference the game where my issues started was Higurashi When They Cry Chapter 1.

Whenever I load this game in windowed mode, this causes the background resolution to change drastically becoming quite large.

In Full screen mode the edges of the screen get cut off by my TV’s borders.

Oddly neither of these issues occur on the other chapters. However i run into the original problem of windowed mode being too small and Full screen mode has the black borders around it.

Die Irae and Muv Luv play in small windows but are ok fullscreen.

If my heart had wings will not allow me to play it at all if the resolution is below 1280 x 720. Fullscreen or bust.

Mighty No.9 is perfect in either windowed mode or full screen.

Azurr Striker Gunvolt appears to be fine in either mode as long as I tweak the in-game resolution.

Still testing other games but any other points of consideration would be appreciated.

Sadly I don’t or I would have done that instead.
