When you exit the game where you took screenshots, it should now automatically open the uploader. You can click "View on disk" to navigate to the screenshot folder.
Other ways to find them regardless...
1. View > Screenshots
2. The recent screenshots will be at the top if the activity on the games library page.
3. In each library page, below the achievement section on the right side, down a bit.
Here, screenshots don't get saved in the screenshot folder, but instead they are saved in folders specific to each game title. Which can sometimes be difficult to find, unless I access them through the Steam library interface.
This is what I must also do to access those folders, because they aren't saved in the designated screenshot folder, but instead they use their own folders, specific to each title.
FYI, I just ran a quick test by using an unmodified installation of that game title, and it should still be possible to make screenshots. Maybe something made changes to that title's installation locally on your computer? That could (potentially) cause it to malfunction.
Verifying integrity of game files would make for the next logical step to fix it. Afterwards, do a system restart as well.
I did find this disussion thread:

Apparently, there are some modifications that disable the screenshot functionality. That could be causing it as well.
But it would be difficult to find support for non-workshop mods on Steam.
