add custom images to steam

before the new UI update this was simple but I can't figure it out anymore. I add a lot of non steam games and they look bare in big picture mode..etc. Can someone help?

In your library, right click the empty cover picture of any Steam or Non Steam game and choose " MANAGE" and then " ADD CUSTOM ARTWORK".

Like i did here for the Mass Effect games in my library:

Changed artwork for all 4 since i prefer to play the female Shepard.
1+2 are Steam games, 3 and Andromeda are Non Steam games.

You now can also change the background and logos for games in your library.

New UI even allows animated covers which can look really nice.

Go into BPM, click on the game, look to the left and click on Manage Shortcut. Now go to Change Icon.

You know how when you hover over a game in your library, multiple images show up to the side, is it possible to make it so a non-steam game can have multiple custom images show up?
