Money deducted and no record of that

I was purchasing red dead redemption 2 and I completed all the formalities but my money was deducted and neither did I receive the game nor any mail regarding steam purchase.

Pending, Failed or succeeded?

Pending means Valve has not received the money but is still hopeful. Failed means that Valve has given up on waiting for the funds. In both cases, the deduction you see is actually a hold placed by your bank.

same happened to me today. tried adding funds , money deducted but nothing reflected. no mail, no nothing.

Every transaction on Steam either says pending, successful or failed.

Say help, help, help, will not make the pending trasnactions goes any faster. If you have a waiting problem, use a better payment option, such as credit card as in Master card, Visa, America express, or etc... Whatever you do, do not do a charge back, or you will have your account locked, and if you don't reverse the chargeback within 90 days, the lock on the account will become permanent. Again link is there to help, if someone that doesn't understand what "permanent" means.

Steam still attempting to collect payment since 24 hours, I wonder how long is the stay ?? Money already deducted from my PayTM Wallet and bank account, should I got ahead and cancel the transaction from purchase history and buy again with Credit Card? Or wait for one more day ??? Also CM servers is showing N/A in my city https://steamstat.us/ are they related to payment gateways ?

When you attempt to purchase something with a credit card, the merchant places a request with the credit card company to hold (reserve) the funds. Later on (days later) the temporary authorization will settle; that's when the merchant gets the money. If the transaction fails, that basically means the transaction never settles. At that point, it's up to the individual credit card company (your bank) on how long they hold the funds before releasing them for you to use. This isn't a Steam issue. You just have to wait until your bank releases the funds.

Also, this is simply how credit cards work. Read up on them if you want to understand the process better.
