Can't ignore more curators/publishers! Is there a maximum amount?
Yesterday evening I was trying to ignore a publisher on their page. As usual I used the cog icon and chose the ignore option and was then greeted by a message saying the following:

I guess publishers are curators in Steam's system?
Anyway, I am not able to ignore this curator/publisher or any other.

I am not following any of these and it seems like there's a maximum number of curator pages I can ignore.
What gives?
How can I fix this?

It's not a huge annoyance, but ignoring by publisher/curator page would make things a lot easier for me.

There is a maximum amount, yes. I think it's 100.

Ugh, really?
But thank you for the fast answer!

There is indeed a cap of 100 ignored curators. This includes, btw, ignored studios (developer/publisher pages).

Which, as someone who actually likes the curator feature a lot, I find really frustrating:

For one, it makes it a chore to find new curators whose recommendations tend to align with your own tastes and renders the "suggested curators" function virtually useless, as it's flooded with copy&paste joke accounts, one-word recommendations, and curators whose language you might not even speak.

Secondly, the aforementioned types of curators make finding worthwhile, concise thoughts on a game that much harder, having to scroll past ten of them to get to one serious review that you'll actually understand.

And finally - and maybe most importantly - the fact that developer and publisher pages are grouped into this cap of 100 ignored curator pages makes it hard to get relevant recommendations in general. If a developer or publisher predominantly or exclusively releases games that you have no interest in (for me personally, "puzzle" games that amount to little more than achievement farms or someone else's hentai folder fall into a category, for example) or you have other reasons why you wouldn't be likely to buy any of their games, barring you from ignoring them or at least forcing a trade-off in regards to useful curator reviews just makes the store, queue, and all those fancy new Steam Labs tools that much harder to use to the best of their worth.

I honestly do not see the point in that arbitrary cap and it's been bugging me for years now.
