Hello how do you conect the steam controler to the game "detroit become human "
it works with x-box controlers just not with steam controlers.
i imported the game onto steam obv but it still doesnt work ( the controller).

Start the game and use the key combination to open the Steam overlay, by default Shift+Tab.

Then there's your answer, without a working overlay Steam can't inject code that would make supporting the controller possible.

You can try adding it as an non-steam game, but that might not work for non-DRM free game. All you can do is ask EGS support for support if that exists then.

ok but it's strange beacause the steam controller work on celeste (i add in steam)

Adding a non-steam game is not a guarantee that the Steam overlay will work.
The game Celeste is also on Steam so it's more likely the developer invested the work to make it compatible to the Steam overlay.

You CAN'T. As said, if that didn't work, all you can do is beg EGS support on it or ask the game devs. They wouldn't bother since the game isn't on Steam so why support that controller?
