Using Steam Proton to install .exe games ?
Hey. I'm on Neon (Ubuntu 18.04+kisak mesa ppa) . I also have plenty games kits that I'd like to add to Steam library.
Is it possible to install those games using Steam's Proton ,without installing and using wine from repo ? Like install them and add them to library later . If so, how can it be done ? Thanks

When you have proton enabled you just install them normally like you would native games. Some games do require other workarounds to get working, like Resident evil 5 for example. But a large number of games just run normally.

The linux discussions cover this a bit btw.

Might have to search around tho.

Well,it doesnt seem to work. Either I click or right click the exe file, it wont install, and If I pick 'Add a non-steam game..'' it only lists the ALREADY INSTALLED games/apps . Will look for that topic, thanks .
For clarification : I am talking about GOG game KITS (one .exe , one .bin) ,not already installed games .
