Buying and instal DLC on another platform

Hello i have question i whant buy dlc but i dont have main game on steam but on another platform and now.
If i buy dlc on steam i can ad them to my library on other platform thx for anser

You cannot buy DLC's without owning the base game on steam.

And yes, you can buy a Steam key for that DLC without owning the basegame -- but NO, you CAN'T use that key for anything unless you have the game on Steam....

It's a key I suppose and applies to what Kargor has said, you can't use the key without owning the base game on steam.

You can buy the content for sure but as it quite clearly states, you need the basic (Steam) licence of the game to use the DLC.

This goes for every game - you can't use DLC without owning the game on this platform.

Same thing. GOG stuff doesn't apply to Steam.
