ESO Launcher Throttle Speeds Too High For My Current Internet Speed

This might be better put in the ESO forums, but I have a serious problem. My internet speed is too slow to be throttled on the Elder Scrolls Online Launcher. If the updates for ESO were simply just on the Steam application and not on the launcher, I would have no issue because Steam has throttling options that I use.

I usually download updates during the night when most people in my house are asleep, but my father sometimes watches YouTube when he can't sleep in the night, so if I am trying to download an ESO update, he can't watch his videos because the internet is being hogged by my download.

We are supposed to be getting better internet in the summer, but that is still 3-5 months away. I am wondering if anyone has had this problem before or has any ideas and/or advice to give me on my situation. Thanks.

Would be better in the ESO forum as someone that owns the game may have the same issue and found a work around.

If you have a router that allows you to set speed caps per device you could do that. Don't know any by name to suggest. Likely any that do would cost more now than it would to upgrade your internet over several months.
