"You must have a steam purchase that is between 7 days and a year old"
Hi,

I'm trying to sell some of my Dota items so I can buy this years Battle Pass and the 'Sell' option is greyed out, when I hover over the button it says:

You must have a valid Steam purchase that is between 7 days and a year old with no recent chargebacks or payment disputes.

I'm a bit confused because as far as I know my account is in good standing and I'm almost certain I've bought things in that time (not games, but in-game purchases like a Battlecup ticket)

Is there anyway I can see exactly what is stopping this from working please? The Battle Pass is out today and I'm gutted that I won't be able to get it right away :(

Thanks

If you want to use the market, you'll have to make a purchase from the store once a year. It doesn't have to be a specific amount. Any game will do. There are plenty that are less than $1.

This. You also can just charge your Steam Wallet with any amount of money, that counts as a purchase on the store too.

Thanks so much guys! So I can potentially just top up a tiny amount (say £1?) or just buy a cheap game and I’m good to go?

well, the minimum amount You can charge your Steam wallet is 5£/€/$ but You can use your credit card/bank account to simply purchase a game under 1£ or more, as You wish

Yes. The market should then show text "your account will be able to use market on (date&time)". Make sure that you also have mobile authenticator enabled to be able to sell instantly.

Depend on region. I unlocked market feature by redeeming IDR6000 wallet code (US$1 = IDR 14000)

Receiving gift card does not count.

Sorry to necro, but I just want to confirm: does adding funds with a virtual credit card work as well? Do I need to wait 7 days after adding funds before I can use the community market?
