Steam starts up to this screen and nothing happens. Steam continues as usual as soon as I click on anything like Store or Library.
^Do this. Manually delete game folder, and delete game .acf file found in the Steamapp folder, the numbers will be the same as the ID for the game. Here an exmaple 1261890 for Eldest Souls, look for appmanifest_1261890.acf to delete, that's about it, then relaunch Steam.
I want to uninstall it properly to remove trace files and registry leftovers.
No change after clearing cache.
- Can opt in or out of Steam beta.
- Can reinstall Steam.
Or manually delete things.
I leave this here, as this is what you're suppose to see when you uninstall by command from broswer, example I be using Maria the Witch as an example. https://imgur.com/KXKj1pZ
Because this is a new function as of 2024, not back in 2020.
