"An error occured while updating stellaris (Shared library locked)"

So, my friend once activated family share on my PC to show me a game. We never bothered to deactivate it, since sometimes he got a new game and if I wanted to try it, so I could decide if I would buy it, I could do it with the shared library. Now I wanted to install Stellaris, since it is free to play, but my friend also owns it (He bought it, he didn't just get it now), so whenever he plays a game I can't play stellaris because the library is "locked", even though I don't play Stellaris through the shared library. Is there a solution to this problem?
