I have hours played in a game I've never touched
I have detecting that I have many hours played in "spacewar". As I wanted to know why, I started looking up for stuff, and decided to launch the game. There was no problem, so I tried to change my password and unlog all my devices from my Steam account. The problem is, that I still have hours played to that game that I have never done, you can check my profile just in case you want to verify it or whatever. My point is: what is happening and what is wrong with my account?

Two most likely reasons:
1) Piracy.
2) A mod for GTA 5 or something else

If 1, just stop.
If 2, well that's how it works.

Well if someone played the game on your account those hours will remain on it. First thing I would do is ask anyone I may have let use my account such as family or anyone in the house hold if they been playing the game on my account mate and go from there. Good luck.:steamhappy:

Never installed mods for gta 5, and I am not using illegal software, all my games are bought by me.

No one has ever got into this account (at least from what I know), but no one in my family logged in.

Then I would report it to Steam support and also i would advise upping your account security to where you have to add in a pin code in order to access anything. So that way even if by chance someone gains access to your account they are still locked out of everything mate. :steamhappy:

Some mods use spacewar to integrate with Steam.

At the top of your client under Help it should say Steam Support. It'll take you to this page here.
https://help.steampowered.com/en/

From there you just select what applies to you until you get to the part where you can make a ticket if I recall correctly mate.Good luck. :steamhappy:

I tried doing that but I can't find the exact direction that gives me the option to talk directly to steam

You get an option to fill out a Help Request at some point which should show up under My Recent Help Requests when your done mate. I mean it takes some clicking threw stuff, but you didn't eventually get that option? You could try this email for them which is support@steampowered.com and I found this number too for them which is 425-889-9642. I just googled steam support direct contact and that's what I found that it came up with. Give that a try mate. Good luck.:steamhappy:

I find it interesting that you're bringing this up just days after getting your only badge with Rocket League, considering the cracked version shows and logs time as Spacewar.

Lol I had enough money to buy the items needed to craft the badge, and I have more than 150 hours in rocket league whereas in spacewar I "have" 35.

Anyways, for anyone who is reading this, thank for your help, no need to reply anymore to this discussion :). I will try doing something that I have been suggested here.

Valve doesn't offer any support on phone or email. That number is probably for Valve HQ and you'll not get any help whatsoever from there. The only option to get in touch with the Steam Support is with the ticket system.
