Good program for monitoring GPU temperature/fans?
Just got a new pc, What's a good program for monitoring my graphics card's temperature/adjusting my fan's speed?
I hav Geforce xperience and sadly they don't have anything to do these with.

Msi afterburner or hwinfo if you want to monitor everything

The card manufacturer will have released their own, EVGA's is very good. MSI Afterburner is also good and compatible with all GPU's, also has OSD support via RTSS.
I find hwmonitor to be too basic, hwinfo64 gives a lot more info and can be configured for OSD via RTSS.

what's a 'healthy' temperature for your card to idle on?
I have a 2070 super only 4 weeks old, and it's Idle temp when not gaming is about 91 degrees.
What's the safe heat zone for a graphics card?

That's too hot. Modern cards have a 0 decibel feature where the fans don't turn on till it hits around 60°C (ish), make sure the fans are running.

No thats not ok assuming it's 91 degrees Celsius and not Fahrenheit. At idle it should probably be below 40c.

https://www.hwinfo.com/
(Didn't know it was used by NASA)

Healthy idle temperature drawing minimal power downclocked in 2D and Desktop mode should be pretty low draw. Basics physics says with low power draw that you should be generating minimal heat.

My 980 TI idles at 40*C @ Desktop mode core clock of 135Mhz while drawing ~25W of power.

Sometimes they're not very good, I remember trying Zotac's once.... lol

May as well do gpu-z also to see what info it says.

I wouldn't run any games etc... until the temp thing gets sorted out.

It's fahrenheit not celsius.
For the most part, the fans don't jack up when I'm playing games like Battlefield 5 or games like it on ultra settings.
The main game that's been giving me issues is Red Dead 2. I play it on ultra as well. I experience no stuttering or frame drops, But after playing it for about 2 weeks my fans have been going stronger and stronger. According to Afterburner the average temp my graphics card sits on while playing is 135 fahrenheit.
My case has decent venilation, and the computer itself is barely a month old. It doesn't stutter, act up or anything else. It's just when I'm playing this specific game that the fans start spinning loud.

your fine...

MSI Afterburner + RTSS (RTSS has other useful features, so it's top of the list), HWinfo64, GPU-Z, and I guess EVGA XOC, but I've not used it, so I can't speak to the performance/quality of it.

It's fine. Just worry if the fans are so loud you can't stand it, or if you're getting 85+c.

Also, sidenote, please use Celcius, because you give everyone mini-heart attacks.
Plus it's a more accurate measurement system, but that's a talk for another day.
