Tax Interview
Hello all!
I was looking into the Steamworks FAQ's and I saw that Steam conducts a Tax Interview.

Now I'm not based in the US nor is my corporation so I'm wondering what does this interview consists of? Is it a physical/virtual interview with me and a Steam rep? Or is it a third-party audit on my corporation just like any other audit happens? It's pretty vague and I thought I'd clarify it here.

The other thing is, is it difficult to work with Steam and anything tax-related being a Non-US corporation? I appreciate your help in advance!

It's just a tax identity interview. It's completely automated and you'll just fill out some basic information, your name, country of citizenship, foreign tax identification number (w/e your country calls this), and things of that nature. It's not anything as grueling as an audit and it'll only take you a few minutes to do.

As far as difficulty goes, it's pretty straightforward as Steam takes care of the withholding rate when you start selling your game.
