Money missing from steam wallet.

Hello all, hopefully somebody has an answer for me.

I had a few dollars in my steam wallet that suddenly disappeared today when I logged into steam. There is nothing new in my market history, no new purchases, and no new log ins. Is there any reason why this money would disappear after a certain amount of time, or have I been hacked somehow?

Wallet funds don't disappear without leaving a transaction history for it.

Well, they did. I have no market listings since April and the funds disappeared today,

Then you must be mistaken. No money is added or removed without a entry for it on your account.

Possibly an alt account.

I have no alts, and I am not mistaken. The only reason I made this thread is because I was hoping somebody else would know why it disappeared without a trace.

Usually this happens when someone intends to buy something with a different payment method, but since Steam automatically selects your wallet by default, they end up spending that first and then their second payment method to cover the rest.

i bought a game and the funds got taken out out of my bank but steam said my bank blocked it but the payment went through on my bank?

yep happends to me all the time i have a dollar or so in my account and after some days they dissapear
