How do i recycle Backgrounds, Emoticons etc for Gems?
And what are Booster Packs good for how i can see btw how many Gems i have?

Select the item in your inventory and click the "Turn into Gems" button. You can see your gems in your inventory.

there is no "turn into gems" button for me

Because some items can't be turned into gems. If you've gotten them through the Points Shop, they can't be broken down.
