steam family sharing

I family shared to a friend and they played dark souls 3 for about 17 hours and then it locked them out of playing for some reason. They can play every other game in my library but for some reason when they try to play dark souls 3 it says purchase instead of borrow or play. I've been looking for an answer for a while so just so everyone knows I don't have any games open or anything, they can play every other game except dark souls 3 can someone please help???
