Steam Overlay Freezing!
Whenever my friends want me to click a link, the steam overlay freezes (ANY WEBSITE TO, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, ETC) this happens during Comp and i have to leave, please how do i fix it!

I got the same. It used to freeze only with embedded videos, now and since a while actually, any link I click freezes the overlay. Only way I found to fix it is to terminate the process...

Valve are really a bunch of clowns if they can't even fix their overlay to work properly after all this time.

I figured this out about a week ago, but it only works for windows, so you guys dont need to exit your game. First go to task manager, then look for "gameoverlayui.exe" and end it which will restart it!
