Can I disable the F12 button from taking screen shots

I have been on steam for a long time and have alot of games here. I use TrackIR a lot and would like to know if there is a way I can disable the F12 button on Steam from taking screen shots.

I do not care about taking screen shots and had much rather be able to keep my F12 button for centering my TrackIR.

If not maybe that is something the folks at Steam may consider making available for us folks that do not want to take screen shots.

Try looking at the Steam client settings menu some time.

I turned it off in settings. Went back to my game.... and in a couple minutes I heard and saw that no matter what button/ key I hit it was taking snap shots again...
Can anyone help me permantley turn off the snap shots.... I went in steam on the main pages, went in settings and cleared the box so it said None in it under Screenshot shortcut keys. and yes.. I did click ok to close it.. but it came back on..

Just use another key for screenshots. You have over hundred of them, theres at least one you don't use for the game.

make it a Ctrl + Shift + F12 or Shift + Alt + f12 or something similar. Adding extra keys will reduce chance of it overlapping with other shortcuts you use whether known or unknown to you.
