Why would Valve beg Ubisoft to make that game available on Steam, and I assume you want it just on Steam without Uplay, with is already nope for Ubi.
Enough of of topic, I personally think that spreading voice online could (but not have to) help to impact on developers.
Point of this post is that author is willing to bring this game on PC (no matter will it be on Steam or not - but Steam is a way to play coop online with friends). And another point is possible issues preventing this like soundtrack authority rights. It is not demand on Steam to do anything, it's just call to gamers to try. It could have impact or not. But I think it's worth trying.
