overclocking?
im looking to overclock my cpu just for future use but not sure on what cpu cooler i will need either a coolermaster or liquid cooler(does look alot cooler) as i have the stock cpu cooler my specs are.

ASUS Z170 pro gaming motherboard intel (R) Core (TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40ghz upto a 4.0ghz overclock installed ram 16gb ram with a GeForce GTX 1050ti 8gb installed ram. Case i have is a Corsair 460X .Any suggestions on what cooler will be required will be helpfull just not sure with what is compatible thanks

You can't overclock a non-k CPU. If you have a 6700k, then you can.

If you have an i7-6700 and not an i7-6700k then you cannot overclock your CPU. That is unless you manually bypass the Voltage by soldering some cables to the back of your motherboard.
