USB Gamecube Controller usable with Steam games, such as Cave Story+ or TowerClimb?
This has interested me for awhile, but is it possible to use a USB Gamecube Controller (Not the USB Wii U GCN adapter, but a Gamecube USB Controller) for playing games on Steam?

See, thing is, my keyboard is broken. (I'm typing this from the phone app) Multiple keys on it do not work, such as the arrow keys. However, even though it won't be for awhile (hence why I'm asking about a Controller), I am planning to get a new keyboard. Until then, I am not able to play any games on my Steam account for awhile, unless I have a controller.

The reason I ask about a GCN USB Controller specifically is because it's the only one I can use at the moment. So, I was wondering if it was possible to use a GCN Controller (again, USB) to play games on Steam? (Those of which, of course, support controllers.)

An answer soon would really help.

Yes, but you will need to emulate xinput over dinput, not sure but I think xpadder do that.

How would I do that? Is there an option to do so? Thanks in advance

All you need to do is map each button on the virtual controler into your real controler.
