How can i use steam overlay on non-steam games?

hi i have a problem about using steam overlay on non-steam games. I wanna use the overlay for Baffler Standalone which is a programme to run Transformice. I created such a topic before but i got no help.

Any help would be very appreciated.

have you added them to the steam client?

if u mean the library, yes i did but cant use any advantages' of steam in the game like ovelay.

It could just be that some games can't use the overlay. Origin games for example can't do it unless you do workarounds or downgrade origin, Witcher 3 on gog works only for me if I disable the gog overlay.

Try some other games and see if any works and check out this article: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9394-YOFV-0014

Ask in forums for your non-steam games if they can get it to work, maybe there is a fix.

Or just google for "gamename steam overlay".

l'overlay funziona soltanto se il gioco parte da steam, se un gioco non steam e vuoi vedere l'overlay caricalo inserendolo come programma non steam e fallo partire da steam
