laptop connecting to smart tv problem (for gaming)
so i'm having this problem for some reason.. So only games from Steam that every time i plug HDMI connecting my laptop to my 4K SmartTV a different problem appear..

Assassin's Unity and Syndicate
Every time i tried to play when connecting using HDMI, the game stuck at the first loading screen where it says "This game bla bla bla" the thing that they said it's some kind of fake past and stuff and it's not real and names too for story purpose..

Tekken 7
The game thinks that i have no Sound Card/Device, but there's still sound coming out from my SmartTV, but at the first Bandai Namco screen, there is no sound. Notification after i press the "any key" at the title screen, "You don't have sound device, Tekken 7 will run without sound. But at the main menu and gameplay there is sound and music.. And at the "get ready for the next battle" there is no sound.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
The game's sound came out from my Laptop's speaker instead of my SmartTV speakers with very veryy lil sound..

Dishonored 2
The game freezes with black screen and lagged my laptop out, forcing me to force restart the laptop.

Rocket League
The game can only runs at 1366x768 with black borders at the left and right side of the screen

any fix for this? i would like to play games using my SmartTV :/ because it feels more rich sound and bigger screen showing bigger visuality.

The laptop itself can only runs game at 1920x1080 and can't go up to 4K resolution. So the SmartTV stretched the image instead (that was supposed to happened, i ain't complaining, just FYI though)

My laptop's specs:
i7 7700HQ
16GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 1050 4GB
Windows 10 Pro

Please Note that this only happens if i'm playing games from Steam :/, it runs fine without any error if i didn't run Steam games.. like FIFA17, Osu!, Minecraft, and such.

1050 should be able to display 4K even tho it is not good enough to actually run them (at least not in a nice way. What I can think of is, that you got the wrong HDMI cable and while entering a game the GPU tries to run HDR and the cable doesnt support it because of missing bandwidth and cuts on other stuff like sound. For 4K with HDMi you need a HDMI 2.0b cable (18.5Gbit/s).

PS also try to update your drivers in safe mode with DDU

by googleing the productcode (normally its writen on the cable). 2.0b isnt that old btw. so if it is more then 2 years old there is a good chance that it is only 2.0a.

I got my HDMI 2.0b cables 2m (so qualitiy doesnt matetr that much at this points) for less then 10$ on amazon.
