CSGO Corrupt Update Files (HELP)
I recently built a new PC and when I try installing CSGO at the very end it says "Corrupt Update Files" and the file is usually a map. I cannot get around this. I have tried:
1. Changing download region
2. Reinstalling (Like 20 times now)
3. Deleting every file related to steam and reinstalling everything
4. Reset my whole pc
5. Downloading on a different account.
6. Changing steam library locations
It's a brand new Hard Drive WD Blue.
Anyone have a fix for this?

Could be a bad sector in your Hard Drive.
It sucks but sometimes it happens in shipping where the HDD gets defective.
You should try RMA'ing for a new one or perhaps try an SSD.
I've even ran CSGO from a Flashdrive before.

Will it let you verify integrity of the game files?
Or will the game simply not download to that point to allow you to do that?

Try verifying game files.

If you're using using mods, check into that, maybe unsubscribe to them, or even ensure you don't install mods to test out the issue.

If you're using 3rd party anti virus, or something that can cause interference such as quarantine your files, corrupting your files, or even changing permissions.

You could try deleting your current CSGO Folders.
after you uninstall csgo you will still have left overs such as your configs and such.

Like... you reinstalled windows?
How many steam accounts do you have?
Try this if you havent already.
Go to your file browser.
Local Disk(C:)/Program Filesx86/Steam/Userdata

Delete the entire Userdata Folder.
