That's pretty much all there is to it, so ensure the game not banned in your region before buying. And when buying 3rd party keys, ensure they're correct, as well read whatever information they provide about the key, if it's has restrictions, or is it global, so you don't end up in a situation.
Odds are you will either get
1) the wrong key
2) a non-working key
3) a key that will be revoked in a week when the stolen credit card that was used to buy it does a charge back
thanks very much. I dont think the game is banned from my country. I am able to see it on my steam client app. (it means its not banned right?)
But I do suggest buying game keys from legit sites, not the gray market.
^This. As it compare prices between other sites that do work directly with game publishers, and indie devs to sell their Keys, and Devs, and publishers will get their money.
Gray markets are not exactly trusted, and do not work with devs, or publishers, and the fact the gray market is a individual reseller, so anyone can list on the site, and one of the things can happen on the gray market that Satoru said.
Anyways gray markets are not safe, it's a risk always taking, and some people will do anything to make a quick buck, even if it to harm everyone in the process. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/4fntxu/gray_market_key_resellers_and_what_they_mean_for/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=post_body
Thank you for the info.
I trust the offgamers site. I always bought from them since 2018, for buying psn and lately steam wallet codes. First time buying game key code from them and was not sure about the region limitaion part. :)
You have to click on quote to see this text, as Steam filter out sites that are gray market, or known scam / phising sites.

Notice when you quote this in the text box below, you can see the text instead of the hearts, those are gray markets, and may face problems dealing with those gray market sites, which if you don't pay them "protection fee" yes the gray market charge you extra just for "protection: if you got scam on their site, which if don't pay it, they won't even give you support, that how bad gray market sites are, and they can careless if the scammer keep using their site.
thanks :)
