It also doesn't make sense because if someone got into your account, all payment info is removed for protection so I don't see how they were able to add funds and purchase a market item.
Your account will remain locked until this is done and the payment method is also banned for life on Steam across all current and future accounts.

Valve do not tolerate accounts buying items, using them and then claiming the money back.
