Fight Stick triggers, R2 and L2 not working

I have the Victrix Pro SF and ever since the update, the R2 and L2 are not working. I try deleting the games configuration and it's still there. I go into big picture and it still doesn't allow me to configure the buttons. I go into the folders and delete the configuration and it still doesn't work. I even did a full factory hardware reset on my computer and it still doesn't work.

It works on PS4 but not on Steam.

I have this issue as well. Ever since the Steam Client Update on 3/26/2020. No games will detect the L2 and R2 inputs on my Victrix Pro FS (PS4 version).

I confirmed the buttons still work on my PS4 and that windows was identifying the buttons.

I created a support ticket yesterday, but have not heard back yet.

same here. i emailed victrix and this is what they told me

"There seems to be an issue with Capcom's latest update that we're looking into and doing some testing on our end. It seems to be a purely software issue unrelated to the Pro FS as the computer is still reading the input from the Pro FS.

I don't think it's on Capcom's term. It doesn't work on any other games like Tekken and Soul Calibur. It seems to be on Steam side.

Yeah, my understanding from the troubleshooting ive done. Is that the last Steam Client update changed how Steam treats controller inputs from PS4 controllers. This change makes it no longer identify those inputs from the Victrix. There will need to be a fix on the steam client side most likely.

I've been having the same problem with my Victrix as well. Tried everything, can only get the Triggers to work on Tekken if i check off PS4 Configuration support in the big picture mode settings but any game that doesn't have the amount of controller support that tekken has they wont work at all. Hope they fix this soon

My friend and I are having this problem as well. Games such as Granblue, Tekken 7, and UNICLR aren't registering the L2/R2 inputs so it's gotta be something on steams end.

Wait, you're able to get it to work on Tekken? Tekken 7? Cuz that's already impressive as I'm reading, no one can get it to work on Tekken 7.

SOLUTION!

Okay, The Steam Support responded. They told me to opt out of the beta participation.

(But for me, I was already opted out, so instead, I had to participate in it.)

To do that, go to Steam > Settings > Account (It's already on Account by default)

Then change your beta participation.

Library→select game→right click→Controller configuation→Browse configs→delete controller Configuations

When I pick Browse config the option for "Delete Controller Configurations" doesn't appear. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I’ve gone through so many forums trying to fix this. It’s discouraging seeing that people have been asking for a fix for the past 3 years. I always see them say they have a stick in house and they’ll roll out a fix. They update steam with what looks like a fix, but there’s never actually a fix.

The R2 and L2 still don’t work on Victrix if you’re using the PS5 mode.
