Library sync between several computers
Hello there,

I have steam installed on Win10 machine and Ubuntu 18.04 machine.
They have been working perfectly together, but currently I am experiencing huge difficulties on Windows machine.

Problem:
Once you launch Steam client, it freezes, and library does not load. If you wait for a resonably long amount of time (5-10 min) it will show games on the left column, but just for a blink, and goes into freeze again.

Possibilities why:
1. Windows lately updated itself, like in a large update for 1909 version, which moved old WIndows and Program files into Windows.old folder. But I did not experience any other problems with any other software. As soon as I encountered problem with steam here, I reinstalled all the drivers, like for the motherboard, graphics and so on, .Net framework, DirectX, reinstalled steam client, but nothing helps.

2. On Ubuntu Machine, I have spent a bit of time and categorized most of my games. Maybe, just maybe, these are categories that do not correllate well on different architectures. I just encountered this issue and have been dealing with the possible first cause for a night. I will try to delete all categories, reinstall steam and update it here, so if the problem is in that, developers might be able to notice and fix it.

But, seriously, I don't know. Please help.
Any advice will be appreciated.

OKay, so I removed all categories on Ubuntu computer, then installed and started Steam on Win10, and it just started flawlessly! So there is a problem for developers - synchronisation of categories between two clients on different computers do not work. Please fix it! I would love all my games to be categorised, because I have a number of computers in different locations, i.e. university, work, home, family home, computer for my son, etc. And each was supposed to have different set of games, from small arcades to large MMO's.
