New SSD, Now EVERY game gives "Disk Write Error" on startup
Just got a new 1TB SSD (WD Blue) specifically for games. Installed and formatted the drive, made a fresh Steam Library folder, and set about 5 games to download. 20+ hours later, after they have all downloaded, when I go to play any of them I get the same error upon startup, here's an example:

"An error occurred while updating [Game Name] (disk write error) :
C;\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared
See the Steam support site for more information"

I have tried all of the steps on the linked steam support page, to no avail.
-Restarted Steam and Computer
-Ran Steam as an administrator
-Re-downloaded steam
-Repaired Library Folder
-Cleared Download Cache
-Verified Integrity of Game Files (gets stuck on 99% indefinitely, Validating Steamworks Common Redistributables file) ( I feel like this is a big hint, but I'm not sure what to make of it)

Any help would be appreciated, I get that I'll probably need to re-download all of these games (20+hours at 3.1mb/s), but at this point I'm not sure if that will even fix the problem on its own. Of course if there's a way to salvage these game files that would be amazing!

Maybe his new ssd is defective, that would explain everything
