PvPRO: "The URL you are attempting to log in to has been blocked by our moderators and staff"
Hello,

I work for pvpro on the marketing department and a few hours ago the following message displays when players try to login via steam:

"The URL you are attempting to log in to has been blocked by our moderators and staff. This site may be engaged in phishing, scamming, spamming, or delivering malware."

We are definitely trying to do everything by the rules and regulations of Steam and Valve so this message came to a great surprise to us and to our tens of thousands of users.

Can anyone help me understand why this has happened and how we can fix it asap?

Thanks and regards,

Konos

It wasnt blocked because of that. Site uses a referral scheme.

Do you think our Refer A Friend (RAF) system caused that?
We don't have RAF links so ppl can spam, you just have to type in the name of the person that referred you.

Thanks for that

We didn't know this was not ok. Other similar services have it.

Anyway, we will remove it now - will that fix the problem, or...?

Is there anything else we can do?

Remove any type of advertising/referrals then contact steam support. If they think the site has been cleaned up enough they can unblock the site.

Bumping thread.

We think that we got limited access because we were routing our users from our root-domain

The re-routing is fixed and all our users "stay" at our

Can any moderator or Valve employee have a look at our case please?
This is very time critical for us.

No one here can see your support ticket. You have to wait for a reply from the support site.

All those links are blocked.

Is there any way to have someone look at our case?
We are getting into the 3rd day and its extremely critical for us to have this resolved.

We don't need a favor, just someone to actually have a look at our case.

Do you have access to anyone who can have a look?

Thanks

You have to remove all traces of the referral scheme and then contact steam support and wait your turn for a reply. It can take several days/weeks. There is no way you will be bumped to the top of the queue for any reason.
